Flower Care once you get home

  • Do not leave your flowers in a hot car or in direct sunlight.

Flowers will wilt in the heat.

  • Clean your vases

Clean your vases with hot soapy water, just rinsing is not good enough. Bacteria will clog the stems ability to take up water and will shorten your vase life.

  • Rinse, Re-cut, Hydrate and remove leaves once you get home

Remove 3/4 of the stems leaves, this will help the flower hydrate and stay fresh.

Rinse and your stems to remove any dirt from the garden.

Re-cut your flower stems on a 45 degree angle and clean off any foliage below the water line before you put them in a CLEAN vase.

Add flower food to help control bacteria growth to extend vase life.

If you don’t have flower food try our homemade flower food : 1/2 tsp bleach, 1 tsp white vinegar, 1/2 tsp sugar.

Recut and replace water every 2-3 days.

  • Keep out of direct sunlight

Keeping your flowers cool and out of the hot sun will keep them fresh longer.

  • Photograph and enjoy your flowers!
